We are Ryan and Jhasmine Sacro, proud owners of "Salo Salo'', a Filipino restaurant that celebrates the rich flavors and cultural heritage of our home country, Philippines. Ryan was originally from Baliuag, Bulacan, and Jhasmine was originally from Maasin City, Southern Leyte. As Filipinos, we are proud of our roots and have a passion for sharing our childhood tastes and traditions of our beloved homeland with all who take a bite of our food.


At Salo Salo, we offer a menu that showcases the diverse flavors and culinary treasures of the Philippines. From the beloved street food like Crispy Lumpias, Pancit, and Barbecue Skewers, to the innovative version of the country's favorite meals such as Pork Adobo Bomb, Strawberry Cheesecake Lumpia, and Blueberry Cheesecake Lumpia. Our menu encompasses the true essence of Filipino cuisine. We source fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create an authentic and unforgettable dining experience.

Ryan, with his years of experience in the restaurant industry, serves as our Head Chef. He was inspired by his mother, Priscilla, to pursue his cooking career. Growing up (and until now), Mama Priscilla’s cooking was loved by many, especially her Pancit, which we will be serving as well. Ryan, having trained and operated multiple kitchens here in Oahu, and honed his skills in crafting delectable Filipino dishes, Ryan brings his expertise and creativity to every plate. His dedication to preserving the authenticity of traditional Filipino recipes while infusing them with innovative twists ensures that each bite is a true culinary delight.

Jhasmine, with her warm personality and natural flair for hospitality, manages the front of the house and creates an inviting atmosphere for our guests. Similarly, Jhasmine has learned the importance of Hospitality from her mother, Maria Eva. Mama Eva has always been the person that others would turn to when they need a wedding coordinator, floral arrangement, event planner, and it is very rare for her to turn down a request. She always placed other people’s needs before her own. Jhasmine understands that dining is not only about food but also about creating memorable experiences. She takes pride in ensuring that every visitor to Salo Salo feels like part of our extended family, receiving exceptional service and heartfelt Filipino hospitality.
